Through our global Innovation Platform, Fashion for Good supports critical innovations on their journey to scale, providing hands-on project management, access to funding and expertise, and collaborations with brands and manufacturers to accelerate implementation in the fashion supply chain. In this series, we are proud to introduce some of the groundbreaking innovators who are driving the change to make fashion a force for good.

The apparel supply chain is notoriously fragmented and complex, making tracing garments to their origins a difficult task. Tracing material flows through the supply chain is even more challenging, especially sustainably produced raw materials like organic cotton.

TextileGenesis™ provides a solution to this problem through their Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, enabling fashion brands and sustainable textile manufacturers to ensure a reliable, secure, and fully digital mapping of their textiles, from fibre to consumer.

TextileGenesis™ is a traceability system built on blockchain, that allows digitalisation and traceability of any textile asset such as fibre, yarn, fabric or garment through Fibercoins™. It focuses on sustainable fibres such as wool-based fibres, premium cotton, specialty filaments, silk, wool and cashmere.
