Event | Salon Talks – Bodies of Work
Curative: Confronting and Healing the Fashion-Industrial Complex.
Last year we introduced ‘Knowing Cotton Otherwise’, a multidisciplinary exhibition, covering various aspects of this versatile fibre — from its burdened history to sustainable initiatives and innovative implementations worldwide.
The new chapter, which opens on 17 February, amplifies the experience of human bodies entangled in (forced) labour in the story of cotton. This panel talk will provide you with a deep dive into these stories, reflecting on the new Installation by Sha’mira Covington.

Event | Repair and Rewear: Spring & Festival Edition
Nearly half of all festival-goers plan to buy a new outfit this festival season with 1 in 3 saying they’ll only wear it once — break the fast fashion cycle and reduce the negative impact on the planet by shopping your own closet instead!
On 29 and 30 April, we’re hosting an upcycling and mending station at the Fashion for Good Museum, together with the talented designers and customisation experts from New Order of Fashion, De Naaierij and Tailors of Amsterdam.

Event | Repair, Reuse, Reinvent: Sustainable Sewing course (KIDS)
Ready, steady, sew: let’s remake fashion as a force for good!
In collaboration with Project Fearless every Monday (from 13 March until 15 May) we are organising an eight week sustainable sewing course focusing on end-of-use. The course is all about getting rid of perfectionist mindsets and jumping straight into reimagining what fashion could be!
