AMSTERDAM – From Wednesday July 28th, the Fashion for Good Museum features a new audio tour narrated by Dutch rapper Dio. In the tour, visitors can listen to Dio explain the rise of fast fashion, why sustainable fashion is so important for people and planet, and what kinds of natural materials can be used to create the fashion of the future. The tour is in Dutch and is free to all visitors to the sustainable fashion museum on the Rokin in Amsterdam.

“I was thrilled when the Fashion for Good museum approached me to narrate their first audio tour! I personally want to learn as much about sustainable fashion as I can and by working on this project, I can discover, see it in action myself, and immediately get answers to my questions. I hope this audio tour will inspire visitors to have more love for themselves, each other and the planet!”  Dio

In addition to the audio tour the Fashion for Good Museum has also compiled a list of Dio’s seven favourite tips and tricks to help visitors make positive changes in their fashion behaviour.

The Fashion for Good Museum is the world’s only museum for sustainable fashion and invites visitors to learn about the role of fashion in society and culture by looking through the past, the present and what the future could hold in store. The museum tells the stories behind the clothes we wear and how through the right choices, we can have a positive impact on people and the planet.

Marketing and Communication Director at Fashion for Good, Anne-Ro Klevant Groen explains:

“For our very first audio tour, we wanted to find someone who is also at the start of their good fashion journey, and who is full of questions and curiosity! It’s become an audio tour that’s accessible to a wide audience and above all, fun and with plenty of humour! We included Dio’s questions in the script to create an authentic experience for the listener.”
